Concrete Built by People Who Finish Their Own Work
Unlimited Construction is a concrete contractor working across the greater Chicagoland area. We pour driveways, patios, sidewalks, foundations and slabs, retaining walls, steps and decorative concrete for homeowners and small commercial properties.
Every photograph on this site is a project of ours, taken on site. We would rather show you the edges and the joints than tell you how good we are.
How we work
The Work Is the Sales Pitch
Concrete is unforgiving. Once it is down, it is down — which is why most of the decisions that determine whether a slab lasts are made before the truck arrives. Where the water goes. How well the base is compacted. Where the joints land. How thick it needs to be for what is going on top of it.
So that is where we spend the time. We come out, look at the site, and talk through what the job actually needs rather than quoting a square-foot number down the phone. The estimate is free, and if there is something about the plan we think will cause you trouble later, we will say so before you commit.
What that looks like on site
- Base preparation and compaction before anything is poured
- Slope set so water runs away from the house, not back toward it
- Control joints placed on purpose, not wherever the slab happens to crack
- Tooled, finished edges that stand up to shovels and salt
- One crew on site from forming through final finish
- The site left clean when we leave it
